PTZ camera - Bertin Exensor

PTZ camera

The Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera is operated by the Flexnet Commander software for mobile or fixed surveillance. It can be mounted on a mast as well as on a small tripod, and can be connected to a radar for autonomous tracking and recording.

The PTZ-camera features a power-saving standby mode which reduces current draws to preserve battery life. The device can be set in standby mode and be woken up manually via the central control unit. Additionally, the PTZ-camera can be configured to move to a pre-set position or apply predetermined parameters, such as zoom and focus, which can be specific to each sensor being monitored. Upon receipt of an alarm from a sensor, the camera can be controlled remotely to undertake the predefined action.

When woken up from standby mode, it only takes 10 seconds for the PTZ-camera to provide a full HD quality video in both electro-optical and infrared channels. The fully assembled PTZ-camera has a total volume of approximately 18 dm3 and has a compact design to facilitate field deployment. The unit can operate together with a radar for auto-tracking and recording.
