Designed as a compact and lightweight base station, the Gateway-S communicates with any of the deployed Flexnet sensors and cameras in the mesh network within a 1km range. The Gateway-S can be configured and run in two different modes: base station and mobile base. The Gateway-S can be deployed as an autonomous base without being connected to a computer.
As the Gateway-S is able to store data from deployed sensors and cameras, the system can be left unattended for weeks. When set in “silent mode”, alarms and images can be stored until retrieved by the operator. The Gateway-S can be connected to 3G/4G modems, satellite communication or other backhaul networks via TCP/IP, to allow remote communication and control. The size and weight of the Gateway-S makes it ideal for shorter missions.
